[ About The Polska Traveller ]
The Polska Traveller was launched since 2012. Inspired by a trip to Poland, Yeung Sau Lun, the designer founder, created a small range of jewelry by making use of vintage objects collected there. The overwhelming responses gave him determination to complete the brand by extending it to a range of designs.
Going against the contemporary standards like efficient and pristine, The Polska Traveller provides a nostalgic experience with a thoughtful human touch. Designs of the brand are all handmade by traditional metalworking skills. However, since the current metalworking industry is diminishing in Hong Kong, Yeung attended different schools in Hong Kong, China and South Korea to pick up the skills. From soldering, casting to polishing, every procedure is handcrafted and so the material and quality is guaranteed. The original design collections are unisex. The signature piece can truly subtly complement every fashionista.
Needless to say, in the brand logo there is a suitcase. That suitcase was actually found in a vintage store when Yeung first visited Poland. After Yeung founded the brand, it becomes a display deco to go with his designs. In few years time, it has also accompanied Yeung to join creative mart or exhibitions in different countries, namely Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, England and Germany.
As the saying goes, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” The Polska Traveler is excited for more journeys to come.
