Originate: Tsui-Feng, Li-Shan (Green Peak, Pear Mountain)
Elevation: 1600 ~ 2000 Meters
Features: Tsui-Feng is generally considered the very best tea plantation on Li-Shan, both by locals and tea critics throughout Taiwan. Year-round coldness and high humidity of the high elevation land, combined with little sunshine, large temperature differences between day and night, and irrigation from melted high-peak snow attributes a sweet and rich aroma to the tea.
Tea picking: 100% hand-picked; only one-tip two-leaf are picked, with a small portion of stem, to retain the natural flavor.
Brewing: 4g tea leaves, 250c.c. boiling water, steep about 50 seconds for the first brew, repeat 5~8 times.
Characteristics: Clear light green liquid with a faint golden hue. The scent of small white wild flowers and ripe fruits on the nose, a rejuvenating flavor in the mouth and a full-bodied aftertaste. The aroma stays in your mouth just like fog lingers in the valley.
