They have worked for many companies and institutions such as the National History Museum, the Zuiderzee Museum, Royal Crystal Leerdam, Thomas Eyck, Established & Sons, Royal VKB, HAY and many more. The features of Scholten & Baijings include minimalist design, intense colours and a keen eye for detail. Their work has been published in many magazines such as Wallpaper, Elle Déco, Frame, The New York Times, Vogue, Casa da Abitare and the International Design Yearbook. In 2010, the two won the Woonbeurs Award and the Dutch Design Award for the “Paper Table Paper Table”, and the Wallpaper Magazine not only nominated them as designers for 2011, but also presented design awards to their work – Paper Porcelain Paper Porcelain. During the Milan Furniture Fair, Scholten & Baijings won the 2011 Outstanding Designer Award for Young Designers at the ELLE Home Design Awards.
