KAYU, or Wood in Indonesian, is a modern, minimal interpretation of the elements used in Rumah SukkhaCitta by Leonard Theosabrata.
Made from our signature silk-cotton blend, the material is light and luxurious with a subtle sheen. KAYU is dyed using mahony wood bark that was sustainably harvested in the village. The deep ochre hue is the perfect accessory to add a statement to any outfit.
What makes this collection special is the edges that feature a slow handroll stitch by the women of Jlamprang village, making each scarf truly one-of-a-kind.
Color and pattern variations may occur and are part of the charm of this handcrafted fabric.
