The asymmetrical series of PADMA IMAGE was inspired by hairstyle.
Asymmetrical hairstyle has been popular since a long time ago as "Shichi-San (7:3)" in Japan. And in modern times a variety of hairstyles are enjoyed as fashion.
Like hairstyles, it is wonderful to enjoy various glasses, but I do not want to make odd glasses. I design glasses which is moderately impressive.

Lotus flower is called padma in Sanskrit word.
The brand name "PADMA IMAGE" was taken from the name of designer Meiji Hasui.
HASUI in Japanese has the meaning "lotus flower floating in a well".
The design concept is "pursuit of sense".
We added a little playfulness to the simple and intuitive design.
Aiming for memorable designs.
PADMA IMAGE's eyewear cherishes "to create new things with existing technology" rather than to incorporate new technology into design.
High technology is required for the manufacture of simple items.
PADMA IMAGE produces only in the factory with high technology among "Fukui Prefecture Sabae City" which is the origin of eyewear in Japan.
