Nala is the founder of designer Lisette Scheers. Lisette Dutch origin, was born in Singapore, the age of eight years moved to settle in Hong Kong before returning to the Netherlands, Malaysia and soon went to middle school, adult studying art in Belgium.
Lisette's multicultural background obsessed with her creation, she traveled to multiple locations believes that "if there is a past life, I would probably be a Chinese princess." Her soul aspires to become a Chinese person, can be regarded as a white yellow heart. She believes the Chinese have a place to live, where the aesthetic element is always particularly exciting. So Lisette began to study Chinese porcelain pattern, and from absorbing inspiration, began writing a series of works, and the creation of brand Nala Designs.
Nala Designs, launched bags, skirts, notebooks, greeting cards, with color pictorial symbols are the Chinese people must know the Jixiang Zhao head, including the old window frame, pattern floor tiles, ceramic tableware, bats, roosters, coins and so on. Lisette adjust these elements to be injected modern style, making each design rich colors and unique patterns, both warm and stylish, with me, at home, to have a kind of cheerful indescribable.
Nala Designs hired a brand name Nala's daughter, also infected by Eastern culture: "family and tradition is ancient Asian concepts and practices they know how to protect children." Nala Designs is a gift given to her daughter Lisette , I hope this little Nala took over the family business when they grow up, put it passed along.
Lisette was once a student of Hong Kong Erick, when GLUE Associates, also did not forget to introduce home goods stationery teacher creative design shops operating in Hong Kong, and work together to create several bags.

STORY OF NALA
Meaning successful in Swahili as well as being the name of her daughter, nala was first started by Lisette Scheers as a way to revive the forgotten art of letter writing, beginning with a modest collection of stationery called Pretty in Peranakan, based on Straits Chinese porcelain .
Born in Singapore and raised in Malaysia, Lisette's multi-cultural background has always informed the way she creates, and over the years, as her collections grew so did the brand. Until today, nala continues to represent the art of preserving Malaysia's beautiful heritage but in a contemporary way.
Colourful, timeless and unique, nala's collections have grown from just stationery to include accessories, jewellery, home ware, and most recently a yoga line of clothing and products. Be it a note card to cheer up a friend or throw pillows to brighten up a bedroom, nala will make your world a bit more beautiful.
