Start from kneading the clay,each potterys are formed by throwing and  slabbing clay. It's no doubt that we can't make potterys as precise as those from the production lines. There are something not that perfect in our handmade pottery, but sometimes those mistakes become the reason why the potterys are attractive and distinctive. I believe the difference makes a pottery a work of art. After firing the clay to 800°C，the next step we glaze the biscuits. Glazing is just like putting on clothes.Glazes were tested and modified again and again.All the glaze recipes which belong to 2mochi studio are classified and not publicly disclosed. Glazing is not the final step, they need to be tested by the high temperature more than 1200°C.Before the ceramics are made of high temperature sintering, they go through all kinds of afflictions. My teacher said, ceramics can live more than 10 thousands years,they can exist longer and longer than the human beings. I believe it's an honor to be a potter, a ceramist .
