The base fabric features a rich ayame-purple tone woven with silver stripes and traditional hanabishi motifs. Bold yet elegant, the textile feels surprisingly modern despite being nearly a century old. To create contrast and tension, a single pocket and collar are reconstructed from a 1970s vintage silk kimono featuring a vibrant botanical batik-inspired pattern. Two different eras.
