September Shuangtai caused heavy damage to Taiwan. After Meiji’s streets and parks were inundated by trees, the peasants were even more inquisitive.
During the intertidal period, I saw that nourishing people wanted to discuss the serious problem of how to balance humans and nature, and initially focused on the relationship between the “tree” and people.
After the typhoon, trees and fallen leaves were collected and brought to the incineration plant. After walking around the park, many of the alternatives were seen cutting down the trees. Some of them even intercepted and cut back. The alternative service workers worked hard and the trees worked hard.
The demand for clean streets and cityscapes is a commonplace. When most people hurry to discard street rubbish and destroy them in the most common way of using “burning”, I hope to pick up these organic substances and re-introduce another form. His creation, limited to let some people see the possibility and vitality of everything.
At the time of the tide, I saw that the longan tree used in Nourishment Series II was planted during the Japanese colonial rule in 1917. For a hundred years now, the thick bark that was forcibly peeled off due to external forces had the beauty of a rough dragon bell, and I preserved this beauty intact. , The green labradorite is like a forest and the original wood grain is thrown on the back. The evergreen large tree longan, but in this winter season, warmly gives us the mountainous energy of the earth.
