Mingya Kiln (Bardur Ceramics Studio) has been working on ceramics creation in Hualien, Taiwan for more than 30 years.
Adhere to pure hand-made pottery, pulling and glazing, dedicated to the research of "Shino" glaze and "firewood", so that each work has its own uniqueness.
After years of washing and sinking, the studio has not only been able to combine the daily life pottery with the local characteristics of Taiwan, but also created a series of pottery works through the design of pottery writers combined with modern innovative style and added beauty. The works range from cups, plates, tea bowls, teapots, tea pots to flower utensils, etc. All types of utensils emphasize "use first", and each piece is collectible and practical.
Bardur's pottery works do not pursue gorgeousness, but give full play to the characteristics of the material itself, and perfectly integrate the most important elements in pottery art - "glaze" and "pottery clay", presenting a simple and smooth side. "Life with Heart" expresses the understanding of life in artistic creation, and expects that users and collectors can experience this heart of life, whether in the visual sense or in the process of daily use.
