Brand Story:
The story of GoGo Pottery begins with the visit of a large black dog. When the studio was established, a stray dog wandered in the woods outside the studio for nearly a month. People said that dogs bring prosperity and it was destiny. Therefore, the dog stayed to guard the studio. The studio's name means "dog dog pottery" because the pronunciation of "dog" in Chinese is similar to "Go." (This is a play on the homophones "GoGo" and "dog dog").
Product Features:
Each piece is created by wheel-throwing or handmade slabs. The inspiration for these works comes from the rocky mountains of Shiding (northern part of Taiwan) and its lush vegetation. Through direct and intimate contact with the clay, the creations possess an immediate visual appeal, conveying a sense of simplicity and tranquility. In contrast to today's fast-paced digital life, the aim is to produce contemplative, emotional, and beautiful yet practical everyday items.
