LeatherStrata products are handmade locally using traditional techniques that have existed for centuries. We design & manufacture all of our leather goods right here in Greece. Our bags and sandals are handcrafted in a small family-run factory with decades of experience in leather craftsmanship. Nikos' love for Greek traditional leather techniques, combined with his individual technical skills naturally led to the creation of LeatherStrata. We use only full grain cow leather to make our leather goods, which is the highest quality of leather you can get. Our leather is also 100% vegetable tanned, which means it undergoes a specific tanning process that very few bags on the mass-market today use. It's the oldest form of leather tanning and has been around for centuries. It is also the most natural and environmentally friendly. Plus, the leather smells amazing. Less than 10% of the world's leather is tanned this way.
Our main goal and philosophy is to offer luxury, high quality, and carefully selected products made of full grain leather following the latest fashion at the lowest prices worldwide! The shop is based in Athens (Capital of Greece), and the primary product manufacturing is implemented in tanneries located in Crete Island (Southern Greece). The raw materials are also Greek and this fact is that makes the final product a fully native.
Our fashion footwear, bags and other leather accessories are all seasonal items and the main specialty of our shop. We hope to enjoy them.
