My name is Maria, I love cross stitching and do it every day. I fell in love with it since I was a little girl, but real passion came back in 2010. Since then I can not stop to cross stitch and create some usable items with my cross stitched pieces. I believe that stitchery makes every item special, fills it with positive emotions and heart warmth.

In 2014 I understood that cross stitching is much more than just a hobby for me, so I decided to change my life and start doing what I really love to do. I created my blog page first, and then, after almost a year of successful blogging, I opened my shop on Etsy. My Instagram, Telegram, Facebook group, my blog and my shop are all called "Little room in the attic", just because I think that attic room is a wonderful place for creativity!

In 2015 I found out that sometimes it is hard to find cross stitch pattern you exactly need for a project, and I thought: "Why not start making my own cross stitch patterns?", so I just did. As I am a cross stitcher myself, I always try to make my patterns comfortable to stitch and check them thoroughly. PDF patterns have high resolution and you can zoom them up to 6400% without any loss of image quality.

Also, I started to collaborate with artists I really admire, and now you can find cross stitch patterns made from their artwork in my shop.
