Liucia Japan is a lifestyle brand noted for its obi and kimono bags that celebrate the past in present iconic designs. Helmed by founder and creative director Alycia, the name Liucia is a portmanteau of her own name and her mother’s name, paying homage to her Mother's legendary elegant sense of style and many years in the leather goods industry. Picking up artistic and entrepreneurial sensibilities from an early age, Alycia sold her first sketches at the age of 10 and worked in her Mom’s leather goods boutique learning about sales, buying and merchandising. While living in Japan, the brand Liucia was launched in collaboration with N.Takeda inspired by her mother’s elemental style and her love of Japanese esthetics. Liucia is now a multifaceted luxury brand defined by clean modern designs that cherish its Japanese artisan past in the present.
