Designer Manman introduces:
Originally a full-time dental nurse, she has been working part-time as a paper product and Degubat collage design maker and instructor for nearly 20 years.
The designer traveled to the United States to learn from French Hermès craftsmen, and also went to Tokyo, Japan to learn Japanese hand-dyeing techniques and hand-made leather shoe techniques.
In 2019, he officially opened a "Slow Life" handmade studio in Hong Kong as a full-time craftsman in collaboration with hairstylist and leather craftsman Kenneth Lau. He incorporated Taiwan's "Slow Enjoyment" teaching elements into his "Teaching from Zero" in the hope that the busy Hong Kong people can slow down a little, feel life, appreciate themselves, and savor the little things around them.
In 2022, he moved to Cambridge, England to settle down. He regularly sells design products in the city center of Cambridge. He also travels to different cities in the UK to sell and hold workshops from time to time.
Designers have been searching for different unique raw materials in different parts of the world, such as Japanese carp leather, Taiwanese Italian cowhide, Italian hand-painted sheepskin, Polish carp leather, etc.
