MoMA Design Store

MoMA Design Store is located in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Professional curators select a series of iconic design products and enrich the daily life of customers through creative and innovative designs.

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) recognized the influence and importance of design on human culture, no less than traditional art media such as painting and sculpture, and established the world's first "architecture and design" curatorial department in 1932.

Because of this historical context, MoMA design store has a different selection process from other selection stores.

First of all, MoMA design store establishes eight criteria for evaluating good designs internally to screen new products. Furthermore, all products selected for evaluation will be reviewed by MoMA's curatorial department one by one for the craftsmanship and quality of the actual products. Only those designs that have passed the two-stage review will become products sold in the MoMA design store.

Every design product sold will be used to support MoMA's breakthrough exhibitions and educational courses, which will continue to bring interesting and avant-garde views to the public.
