Lugang Kiln Brand Story
Gao Pintong, from Lukang Town, Changhua County, Taiwan, is a potter and entrepreneur. He has a creative process of more than 40 years. He studied ceramics at school when he was young, and started to make a living from ceramics after entering the society. From creation, entrepreneurship to Innovation.
1981Established "San Tang Enterprise Co., Ltd."
1992Holding the central idea of drinking water, thinking of the source and not forgetting the origin, actively marketing and promoting ceramic craftsmanship with the brand "Lugang Kiln".
2010In remembrance of his father Xun Mian, he founded "Xin Ke Kiln" in his name, and developed towards branding; along the way, not only won many awards, but also witnessed the development of Taiwan's economy and ceramic gift industry. .
2017Enrolled in the EMBA program of the Department of Cultural and Creative Industry Management, College of Humanities and Arts, National Taipei University of Education, specializing in handicraft marketing. I hope craftsmen can also be artistic entrepreneurs, adhering to"Life is Art, Art That is life”Combining art, aesthetics and life. Incorporating "beauty" into life, established an art life brand"Lugang Kiln Gift Museum"on the e-commerce online platform, selling handicrafts designed by herself and works of craftsmen from different fields in Taiwan. Such as ceramics, glaze, woodworking, metalworking, jade, bamboo and rattan, lacquer, indigo dyeing and weaving.
