(1) Brand naming:
"Benren Xianmu" means a wooden creator (朲) and user (person). Envy represents a good feeling for a certain thing, and wood symbolizes nature and wood. The name implies that wood creators and users love nature and wood together. Wood is a medium for the brand to communicate with people, and it brings people joy through wood. Making every interesting piece of work with heart and sharing joy with others is something we never tire of. Non-plastic and non-toxic is our persistence. The creation, name, wood species and other elements of each work have unique meanings. Wood is not only It is a material with temperature and life, and creativity brings more laughter!
(2) About us:
RENREN WOODEN was founded in 2016, with the brand purpose of echoing the beautiful and warm daily life, through the production of musical instruments, household goods, and handicrafts, it injects soothing and gentle power into life.
In 2019, I started to make Kalimba thumb pianos, and I have been immersed in the realm of hand-made beautiful wood.
RENREN WOODEN creates from the five aspects of vision, hearing, touch, feeling, and smell. The works are simple and fresh, with delicate and round texture, and the calm and smooth form becomes richer through exquisite and warm craftsmanship. What's interesting is that they are mature and timeless. The design and the indescribable childishness are concentrated in RENREN's works, which is probably inseparable from the life experience of the creator of the whale father.
(3) About the works:
Kalimba: The Kalimba thumb piano originated in Africa and is a portable instrument that can be played improvised. RENREN’s first thumb piano was the cute tooth speaker. At that time, our eldest daughter had just had her first small teeth. We were sprouted by the cute smiling face, so we made the cute smiling face as our intention, in order to create a laugh like a baby Healing and beautiful sound, we used good hardwoods and high-quality keys to improve the structure 6 times before and after. It took 2 years to produce a fine-quality thumb piano with long bass, clear treble, and ethereal tone.
Music box: The same music bell movement is installed in resonance boxes of different materials, and the sound is completely different. The world's top music boxes are all wooden resonance boxes. RENREN's first wooden music box is a reindeer music box, which produces a comfortable and stable sound. Its stress-relieving sound performance has once become an artifact of the creation pressure and insomnia for the whale father to fall asleep. We used high-quality wood with lovely shapes and improved the structure four times before and after to create a complete music box with no joint point in appearance. It is also the world's first handmade music box with different wood and multi-curved shapes.
Household items: mainly multi-curved whale-shaped mobile phone holders, cute animal-shaped chopstick holders, beautiful and practical tableware, well-selected wooden chopping boards and many ingenious home furnishings that make people smile. Adhering to the non-plastic and non-toxic health concept that RENREN WOODE has always adhered to, our works are almost at a level that can be put in the mouth by infants and young children, which is reassuring. (4) About maintenance:
The maintenance of all woodware has one thing in common: it is used frequently. The same is true for the Kalimba thumb piano. Be careful not to expose it directly to the sun for a long time, and do not place it in a damp place for a long time. The dirty steel sheet needs to be wiped off in time. Take care not to drop it. It will stay with you for a long time.
