ROYCE' was established in Sapporo in 1983. By absorbing top-of-the-line technology and continuously enriching our experience, we are now able to produce world-class quality chocolate. The climate and pure air of Hokkaido, where it is produced, is an ideal place to make desserts. Royce's basic principle has always been and will always be the search for high-quality ingredients to make chocolate.
Due to increasing demand, Royce' once opened telephone ordering for customers outside Hokkaido. We take down the names and addresses of our customers by hand and ship the chocolates they order from our factory one by one. Our mail order system came into being.
When we started baking cookies in a small factory, the smell of freshly baked desserts attracted the surrounding residents. So we set up a table in front of the factory and started selling cookies. This is the prototype of our direct store.
Looking back, Royce' history has always been built on the support of people. Today, Royce' chocolates are not only loved by locals in Hokkaido, but also by chocolate lovers around the world.
