Yubo is a personal studio and also a story hall about "worship of nature".

Over the years I have devoted myself to my favorite glass, jade, and wood carvings, as well as metal improvisation and glass bead firing. In the process of self-study, although there are more explorations and problems than full-time apprentices, but because of this, they are exposed to a broader field of vision and are competent for the journey of exploration. One day, I will share my work here!

In the distant time travel, we admire the beauty of nature, worship the mysteries of nature, and imitate nature unconsciously... This is the tribute to the abundance of nature in manual creation-life is the presentation of feelings. Yubo deeply promises to transform the feeling of life into a story through imagination, and transform the shape and meaning of nature into a prayer-like work.

Usually, before creating a fish bowl, there are materials first before the design is conceived. For example, jade and wood: first search and collect, remove the burden and repair the cracks (wood), then observe the shape and structure, draw a sketch according to the association or feeling, then apply it to the material, and then sculpt and modify, and finally complete the work.

When looking for materials, it seems to be a journey to explore my inner mysteries. When I traveled all over Taiwan's coasts and streams to select jade (Taiwanese jade has a very unique richness!), sea-washed glass (polished by sea waves) and sea drift wood, although not every day Everything can be accomplished, and the process is accompanied by the scorching sun, and stronger than the sea breeze, but I am very satisfied with every "encounter" in this process. Some of them are bright, some are reserved, some are graceful and more beautiful. . beautiful! But indescribable.

Glass sculpture is the main creation of Yubo Design Museum. More jade works will be released slowly in the future. It is indeed a kind of self-indulgence to ask the secret of brilliance in their crystal clear refraction; while glass has perspective and distortion Due to the dual characteristics of light and shadow, the influence of curved surfaces must be considered when engraving on the surface, especially for wine glasses. If it is a glass plate, the three-dimensional shape in terms of depth must be considered.

Sculpture is a process of creating something from scratch and saving the chaff from the chaff to the chaff. The process must be slow and orderly, and the process must not be mistaken.
