The choice of "Florero" as the brand name stems from the Mandarin term "花瓶" (huā píng), which sometimes metaphorically refers to objects that adorn but serve no practical purpose. However, the intention isn't to beautify ordinary objects or assign practical value to beauty. Through the implied meaning of "Florero," I hope to remind everyone that adorning surfaces itself holds significant importance.

【Artist Introduction】
Wu Chia Ying
Born in 1990, from Taipei.
"Creating aesthetically pleasing and durable vessels" is at the core of my philosophy. I do not seek to imbue ordinary objects with beauty or practical value, but rather view them as an integral part of life itself. The act of crafting and designing objects is my moment of creation. Objects designed and created by me are not vessels for grand ideas or the life journey of an author; a competent object, whether a cup for tea or a bowl for meals, is itself a vessel for life.
